Fibrespeed Launch

Technium CAST Thursday 27th November 2008 with primary route of phase one. Redundancy live for early January 2009.

While it is now too late to secure a place at the launch event, the opportunity to be one of the first to make use of the opportunity with a premier provider is very much a real one.

Given that the fastest BTnet lease supplied to North Wales is 2mb, and faster connections will require point to point leased lines to transit elsewhere, this opens a great deal of doors for enterprise here.

We are currently taking requests for quotes and information from public and private sector end users - get in contact today.

FibreSpeed

Modern World is in the fortunate position of being one of the few FibreSpeed providers in North Wales delivering enterprise connectivity through our Netserve parent. The transit advertising guff reads: "The network is now in North Wales, connecting business parks, industrial estates and other locations across six counties to provide high-speed broadband services that will transform the business landscape by stimulating economic growth and encouraging innovation, enterprise and inward investment."

In real world terms this means many things for Modern World and its clients; 10Mb/s to 1Gb/s connectivity in North Wales, co-location opportunities, local peering, along with the physical aspects of faster turn around for systems issues - we are better to deliver better service. If you too would like to benefit from North Wales Colocaion, transit or backhaul, or require more information on FibreSpeed then read on and or drop us an email.

Aquisition and Move

On the 1st of May 2008 Modern World was acquired by Netserve Consultants Ltd., having worked alongside each other for many years. Netserve hope to bring their experience of clustering and scalability to the existing MWI user base, while capitalising on delivering more bespoke tailored solutions to the more demanding end user.

Netserve in turn moves for June. While remaining on St. Asaph Business Park, Denbighshire - we are moving to the OpTIC forum. The new premises will allow us to grow a little more, and give us the opportunity to work with the resources, knowledge and facilities that are on site.
